The Chainsmokers weren’t fans of Lady Gaga’s first single “Perfect Illusion” off her latest album Joanne, but the two seemed to settle their differences when Lady Gaga lightly trolled them about her third single “A-Yo” and they gave her props. But her producer Mark Ronson isn’t letting things go so easily. He took a major dig at the DJ duo this weekend.

It all started when Halsey, who is featured on The Chainsmokers’ first number one hit single “Closer,” stuck up for Gaga. She tweeted how much of a fan she was, which led some to question if she was taking sides. Halsey didn’t see it that way, but someone purporting to be Drew Taggart did. He tweeted “You bald b—-” at her. When screengrabs of the message went viral, Taggart first claimed that they were fake and then later claimed his account was hacked.
Well, The Chainsmokers were back on Twitter this weekend after a mini hiatus, and after hearing about their return, Ronson took the opportunity to say something about it. “Back to being the charisma-bypassed champions of 2 bar Ableton loops? Well, smash it while it lasts, fellas!! P.S.” he tweeted along with a link to several low-risk investments the guys could investigate should the DJ thing not work out for them.
Ouch.
